In a recent turn of events, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann criticized the leaders of opposition parties for their conspicuous absence from the 'Main Punjab Bolda Haan' debate held to address pressing issues concerning the state. Mann expressed his astonishment at their absence and suggested it was due to their inability to find any substantial concerns against his government during the preparatory period leading up to the event.

During his address at the 'Main Punjab Bolda Haan' debate, Chief Minister Mann emphasized that the absence of these leaders from the event did not absolve them of their responsibility to answer for their actions. He urged them to explain to the people why they chose to avoid the debate on Punjab's issues, despite having enjoyed significant political power in the state.

Mann explained that the debate was organized to provide a platform for all leaders to present their perspectives. He noted, however, that instead of attending, these leaders chose to evade the discussion by offering frivolous excuses. Chief Minister Mann affirmed his commitment to exposing their actions and holding them accountable before the people of Punjab.

Mann also criticized the opposition leaders for engaging in theatrics to mislead the people of the state. He pointed out that the construction of the Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal, a contentious issue in Punjab, had deep-rooted historical implications. Mann mentioned that the ancestors of these political leaders were responsible for the construction of the canal for their own vested interests. He highlighted the involvement of figures like Balram Jakhar, Captain Amarinder Singh, and Chaudhary Devi Lal in the SYL project.

In conclusion, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann emphasized that the debate would be recorded in Punjab's history as a crucial document that exposed the deception and malpractices related to various issues, including nepotism, favoritism, toll plazas, youth, agriculture, trade, shopkeepers, sacrilege, river waters, and more. Mann asserted that the leaders of traditional political parties had failed Punjab on these issues and held them accountable for betraying the state. He reiterated that history would not forget their actions.
