The latest episode ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’ initiative of Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha got massive response from people from all walks of life across the UT of J&K. The programme was listened to and watched with keen interest by scores of people across the UT. It was the 31st edition of the series "Awaam ki Awaaz."

Special Chaupal were organised at different panchayats to update the inhabitants of rural periphery about the progressive steps taken by the administration besides Lt Governor also lauded the women achievers who have done well by availing welfare schemes of the government with their extraordinary commitment and courage.

KATHUA: Special Chaupals were organised at Panchayat Ghars where people listened to the message of Lt. Governor which was on fast changing development profile of Jammu Kashmir which is marching ahead with inclusive and sustainable development plan. In Border sub division Hiranagar, people listened to Awaam Ki Awaaz which spread the vision and message of LG Administration across the length and breath of the rural landscape.

Likewise, Special Chaupal were organised in Billawar, Kathua and Basohli sub divisions where overwhelmingly participation of locals was seen during the hour long broadcast of Awaam Ki Awaaz.

RAJOURI: The people of Rajouri district across all 312 panchayats and five municipalities listened to the program with rapt attention, reflecting their deep connection with the stories and messages conveyed. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in his dedicatory message to the women change-makers of the Union Territory, acknowledged the remarkable engagement of the audience.

The attentive and enthusiastic response from the listeners underlined the significance of the program in their lives. Lt. Governor Sinha's commitment to supporting women entrepreneurship found a receptive audience. The listeners understood that the administration is actively working to create an enabling environment for these entrepreneurs, and they appreciated this dedication.

UDHAMPUR: The District Administration Udhampur organized 'Chaupal' event dedicated to the Lieutenant Governor's 'Awaam Ki Awaaz' radio program in various Places of District Udhampur. The event witnessed a significant turnout, with participation from PRI members, local residents, notable community figures, and women participated in the chaupal. They gathered to listen to the inspiring success stories shared by the Lieutenant Governor at various Places  of the District. 

After listening to the monthly 'Awaam Ki Awaaz' program at various Places, the attendees lauded the dedicated efforts of Lieutenant Governor Sh. Manoj Sinha towards the comprehensive development of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. They also expressed their appreciation for the monthly 'Awam Ki Awaz' program, which effectively informs the people about government policies and programs.

DODA: In an inspiring display of community engagement and support, a large gathering of people from various Panchayats in Doda district came together to tune in to the monthly "Awaam Ki Awaaz" radio program, by  Lieutenant Governor Sh. Manoj Sinha. This special session, called 'Chaupal,' was organized by the District Administration at panchayat Ramgarh, Assar, Kuthyea, Bulandpur, Charota and chill to connect the public with the LG's message.

The "Awaam Ki Awaaz" initiative, orchestrated by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, Jammu and Kashmir, is aimed at conveying the progressive steps taken by the administration and inviting public feedback to optimize their efforts. During the event, the SDM Assar Lekh Raj and Tehsildar Assar Fareed Ahmed, along with officials and the members of Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIs), joined the local community in listening to the LG's message.

This radio program saw a diverse participation of people, regardless of gender, who exhibited great passion and enthusiasm throughout its duration.  The active involvement of PRIs and local residents highlighted the success of this program in fostering community engagement. The listeners of "Awaam Ki Awaaz" applauded the efforts of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his dedication to the holistic development of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. By placing citizens at the center of the policymaking process, the program has become a symbol of collective aspirations.

SAMBA: Various Chaupal were organized in rural and urban areas of District Samba during the live streaming/telecasting of the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor Sh Manoj Sinha's "Awaam Ki Awaaz" program which focused on the theme of women empowerment and gender equality. The significant event saw active participation from various stakeholders in District Samba, including the general public, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), and elected councillors.

The chaupal were organised at ten different locations across nine blocks. In addition to the decentralized chaupals, a grand gathering took place at Samba Fort, where elected councillors and citizens of the district came together to participate and listen to insightful discussions during the program. This centralized event, organized by the Municipal Committee Samba, showcased the unity and collaborative spirit of the local community. Besides the Municipal Committee of Bari Brahmana, Vijaypur, Ramgarh also set up and hosted local Chaupals in their respective jurisdictions.

The "Awaam Ki Awaaz" program, under the leadership of the Lieutenant Governor, has not only provided a platform for the empowered women to share their success stories, emphasizing the importance of gender equality, but it has also empowered street vendors, promoted local art and culture, such as khadi, agriculture and allied activities, dairy farming, promotion of co-operative societies, highly talented artisans, craftsmen, small enterprises, and the commerce market. Similarly chaupals were also held in the other district of the UT.
