In continuation to ongoing 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' campaign, Municipal Council Kulgam, Municipal committees of Yaripora and Frisal organized ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ at the famous Eco Park Kulgam district. The event witnessed active participation of school children and citizens. The event was also participated by President Municipal Council Kulgam Muneeb Ahmad, ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri, Presidents from Municipal Committees Frisal and Yaripora, EO Mohammad Irfan. 

The occasion featured the playing of the Mitti Anthem, underscoring the cultural essence of the initiative, felicitating the family of veers and singing of national Anthem. The ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ involved the collection of soil from various wards within the Municipal jurisdiction symbolizing unity and dedication to the nation. The campaign aims to pay tribute to the courageous Veers who have made the supreme sacrifice for our nation.
