In order to review and finalise arrangements for the annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA), a meeting of officers, Auqaf members was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Viqar Ahmed Giri at mini-secretariat, here. During the meeting, the ADC took department-wise review of arrangements and directed PHE and PDD departments to ensure uninterrupted water and electricity supply at Gufbal Qaimoo and Chimmer Noorabad during the Urs days.

Concerned were directed to maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness and regular lifting of garbage from the Shrine areas. ARTO was instructed to formulate a synergised Traffic Management Plan for hassle free commute of devotees. Instruction was passed to arrange additional parking arrangements for vehicles to control traffic congestion.

While as Health department was directed to ensure requisite medical facilities at both the places and to install medical camps at Gufbal and Chimmer during urs days.The meeting was attended by SP, G.M Bhat; CMO, ARTO, AD FCS&CA, Tehsildar Qaimoh, Ex. Engineer Jal Shakti, Representative of Waqf board, Ziyrat sharief and district heads of various line departments also attended the meeting.
