In a remarkable display of community engagement and commitment to better health, the Poshan Project Chassana Reasi organized a one-day awareness camp as part of the Sankalp Saptah celebration at Thakrakote, Jij Bagli, Mahore, and Chassana.The event took place at Major and brought together diverse members of the general public, including esteemed figures like sarpanches, panches, children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers hailing from neighboring panchats.
The event was graced by the presence of the District Programme Officer of Poshan Anwar Banday, who honored the occasion as the chief guest. In his enlightening address, he provided a detailed overview of the Poshan scheme and elucidated the crucial roles and responsibilities of the Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and their helpers in the quest for improved nutrition and well-being. On the occasion, the CDPO Arnas Shahid Iqbal Mughal offered a comprehensive account of the Poshan Abhiyan, shedding light on the various schemes being diligently implemented by the Poshan team.
Furthermore, CDPO Mahore Nirja Mattoon shared invaluable nutritional insights aimed at reducing anemia among women.
