Directorate of Health Services Jammu conducted an array of public outreach activities in Health Institutions of Jammu Division under the flagship Ayushman Bhav Campaign. Ayushman Bhav Campaign, a nationwide healthcare initiative of Government of India has been launched to ensure full saturation of healthcare schemes by reaching every village and town. The campaign was launched on 13th of September 2023 in Jammu Division.

The three components of this campaign are Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0, to ensure 100% enrollment in Ayushman Bharat, Ayushman Melas at HWCs and CHC level and Ayushman Sabha in every village and Panchayat level. It is a significant step towards achieving universal health coverage and ensuring healthcare for all. All districts of Jammu division are conducting Ayushman health melas at HWCs and CHC level where health services like ABHA ID generation, early diagnosis and screening under NCD, anemia test, track and treat, blood donation camps and awareness about Ayushman Bharat PMJAY benefits, TB Mukt Panchayat, teleconsultation, IMI-5.0 vaccination, NVBDCP and other health schemes are being provided.

 The melas were attended by a large number of gathering including PRI members, social activists, ASHAs, AWWs, general public and health staff. Under the umbrella of Ayushman Bhav campaign, Swachhta Pakhwada commenced on 17th September 2023, an initiative that underscores the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in healthcare institutions. Massive cleanliness   drive were carried out under the banner of Swachhta Hi Sewa Campaign in Directorate of Health Services Jammu along with health Institutions of all districts across Jammu division during one hour Shramdaan drive on 1st of October 2023.

This was a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting cleanliness and hygiene contributing to the broader mission of a cleaner and healthier India. In this campaign, hospital and office staff, local community members and volunteers participated by cleaning the hospital premises, offices, surrounding areas and public places.  This collective action was to inculcate cleanliness and good hygiene practice to lead a healthier life.
