Nowshera Forest Division celebrated Gandhi Jayanti-2023 by organizing cleanliness and plantation drives in all three forest Ranges with active participation of PRI members, children, senior citizens, women, CRPF & BSF personnel and officials of many other departments.Range Officer Sunderbani/Lamberi Sudesh Kumar told that to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti-2023 all activities related to awareness and protection of forests, water bodies and other natural resources, adoption of paryavaran rallies etc till today were carried out as per calendar of events issued in Sunderbani and Lamberi Forest Range.
Cleanliness drives were carried out today in Sunderbani town, Gurudwara Sahib at Thandapani, Bowli at Thandapani, Rajal and Kalal areas with active involvement of thousands of people besides plantation drives and message to “keep our environment clean and green” was disseminated to whole humanity.These drives were conducted under the supervision of Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera Satyendra Mourya and Conservator of Forest west circle Rajouri Vivek Verma.
