An initiative under Swachhta Hi Sewa programme, Director Rural Development department, Kashmir, Shabir Hussain Bhat today visited Shopian and took part in Shramdhan Shapath ceremony. The programme aimed to donate one hour of labor towards sanitation of our surroundings like roads, offices, tourist places, historical places, religious places, public parks etc. Director, alongwith ACD, ACP, BDOs, Exen and other officials took participated in the events. A Shramdhan and Oath was delivered by the Director Rural Development Kashmir in Panchayat Halqa Chotippra of Block Shopian.The programme was attended by ACD Shopian, Hilal Ahmad,ACP Shopian, Manzoor Ahmad, BDO Shopian, Qadeer Ahmad and other sectoral officers.
A rally was conducted from Shah Payeen Payeen to Borihalan. The Director Rural Development Kashmir insisted upon the people to make every effort to sustain the ODF Plus Model of SBM. Similarly the Ek Ghanta Ek Tareekh Ek Saath programme was supervised at Zainapora by Director Finance, Rural Development Department, Reyaz Ahmad Shah.The programme was organized from SDM office Zainapora to BDO office Zainapora and was attended by SDM Zainapora, Mushtaq Ahmad and other officers and officials. DDC members, BDC members, and other PRIs, also participated in these programmes.
