The three days Capacity Development Programme for existing entrepreneurs for scaling up their business activities under SANKALP concluded here at National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India,  Srinagar Centre.

This was the second programme as part of the series of programmes to be conducted in Jammu and Kashmir in coming days.Principal Government Polytechnic College (Women), Bemina Srinagar earlier inaugurated the programme and also briefed participants about the importance of such programmes. He also provided insights on the programmes conducted by NIESBUD in Jammu and Kashmir.

The programme was organized to support young entrepreneurs and educate them about sales, marketing and business communication.  The three days programme covered the areas on e-commerce, market linkages, awareness regarding government schemes, entrepreneurship development, soft and hard skills, product value additions, bank linkages and application procedures for loans etc.

The experts from NIESBUD provided the basic expertise on how to overcome various challenges which the entrepreneurs are facing during marketing and packaging etc. Dr. Aijaz Mir representing NIESBUD, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, in the UT of J&K, thanked the participants, the college administration and the experts for making the workshop a success and also assured further handholding and support for these entrepreneurs and other aspiring entrepreneurs in future also.
