The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani today convened a meeting to discuss and strategize the implementation of the "Ayushman Bhava" campaign in the district.

At the outset, Dr Afroza Shah, Chief Medical Officer Ganderbal gave a detailed presentation of the campaign, indicating a focused and time-bound approach to achieving the objectives of the campaign that will provide all health related benefits and access to healthcare services to beneficiaries.

The meeting discussed the planning and execution of a campaign related to the Ayushman Bhava which is a flagship healthcare initiative of all health schemes aimed at providing health coverage to all sections of society, role of BMOs and District Program Management Unit in execution of a campaign at grassroot level.

Interacting with the officers, ADDC asked them to strategize and align efforts among various stakeholders to effectively implement the Ayushman Bhava flagship to maximize its benefits for the residents of Ganderbal district.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Ganderbal, Programme Officer ICDS, CEO, CDPOs, Social Welfare Officers, Medical Superintendent SDH Kangan, Block Medical Officers and District Programme Management Unit Ganderbal.
