Arrangements for Shri Baba Buddha Amarnath Ji Yatra reviewed at Reasi

To review the arrangements for the smooth conduct of Shri Budha Amarnath Ji annual Yatra, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal today convened a meeting with the concerned district officers and prominent citizens, here today.  This year's yatra is scheduled to commence on August 20 and conclude on August 29.

During the meeting, the DDC exhorted the officers to make the arrangements pertaining to their departments well in time to avoid any inconvenience to the pilgrims.  The DDC stressed the need for foolproof security arrangements, adequate medical facilities, water and power supply, sanitation, traffic management and other essential services to be provided to the pilgrims.

DDC emphatically instructed the officers to ensure that all necessary facilities are in place to provide a safe and comfortable stay for the Yatris. DDC stressed the importance of hygienic food, regular water and power supply, and improved sanitation at all designated places. 

The DDC asked the officers to coordinate and make all efforts to ensure the comfort of yatris. ADC Abdul Star, ACR, DSP Reasi, CMO, EO Municipal Committee, Tehsildar Pouni, Xen PHE and PWD, Xen JPDCL and other concerned officers present in the meeting.
