To honour the Martyred brave-heart men and women of the Nation, the District Administration Bandipora in collaboration with Department of School Education, Information, RDD, ULB, Police, DYS&S and PRIs organized a Mega Tiranga Rally.

The Rally witnessed overwhelming participation of thousands of people including students from Government and Private Schools, Government employees, youth volunteers, PRIs as part of ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ campaign and in run up to Independence Day Celebrations.

The Rally started from Govt High School Bagh and traveled through Main Market Bandipora and culminated at SK Stadium Bandipora amidst reverberations of patriotic melodies.Padma Shree Faisal Ali Dar, ASP Bandipora, DySP HQ Bandipora, Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Tehsildar Bandipora and other senior officers of District Administration and Heads of Institutions of various schools accompanied the rally up to S.K Stadium.

At S.K Sports Stadium Bandipora, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Ali Afsar Khan unfurled the National Flag and presided over the tringa rally. He was accompanied by District Nodal Officer Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak besides other officers.

The Tiranga Rally witnessed thousands of participants including men, women, government employees besides a large gathering of students, uniting people from all walks of life in a shared celebration of their nation and culture.

Thousands of participants holding the National Flag paraded through the streets of Bandipora, creating a mesmerizing spectacle of unity and diversity. The enthusiastic crowd was treated to melodious tunes while singing the National Anthem.

The Deputy Commissioner in his statement said, "We are overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and support that the people of Bandipora have shown for ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’. This campaign has beautifully brought together the spirit of our nation and showcased love and respect for veers of the Nation. We believe that this initiative will continue to inspire patriotism and unity for generations to come."

‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ touched the hearts of not only the residents of Bandipora but also extended its impact to the neighboring regions, serving as a reminder that commemorates the sacrifices made by brave hearts of the Nation.
