GND PSOU signs MoU with Young Progressive Sikh Forum

Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University (JGND PSOU), Patiala signed Memorandum of Understanding with Young Progressive Sikh Forum (YPSF). Mr. Ajitpal Singh Kohli, MLA; Prof. Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, JGND PSOU; Dr. Prabhleen Singh, President, YPSF; Mr Harpreet Singh Sahni, Editor PTC; Dr. Daman Sandhu, Punjabi University Patiala; Prof. Manjit Singh, Registrar and Prof. Gurdip Singh Batra, Dean Academic Affairs were present during the signing of MoU.

Prof. Karamjeet Singh said, “YPSF and JGND PSOU will collaboratively support needy and financially weak students. The University shall provide free education to students shortlisted under Scholarship Program of YPSF. A maximum of 100 students can avail scholarship during the academic session. 

Students with annual family income not more than Rs.2,50,000; differently abled learners; dependents of divorcee mothers; families affected by natural disaster and students who have lost earning member of the family can avail the scholarships. JGND PSOU offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Certificate courses for skill enhancement.

” He eulogised the initiative of YPSF.Mr. Ajitpal Singh Kohli said, "JGND PSOU has taken numerous initiatives to promote excellent educational environment that will enable students to achieve higher level of development." Dr. Prabhleen Singh, while speaking on the occasion said, “ YPSF has been supporting the needy and the orphans.” Mr. Harpreet Singh Sahni assured that YPSF shall support the university and assist the institute in its endeavour to reach the learners.
