On the eve of release of 14th installment of Rs. 17000 Crores in favour of 8.5 Crore beneficiaries of PM-KISAN by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the Department of Agriculture District Ganderbal in collaboration with District Administration Ganderbal organized a function at district level in the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.

The event was presided over by Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani along with Chief Agriculture Officer Ganderbal, Randhir Sharma and District Agriculture Officer Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Sofi.More than 50 farmers of the district besides field functionaries of the department participated in the said event.

The programme was also organized throughout the district at different Agriculture zones of the department wherein an ample number of farmers participated.It is worth mentioning here that more than 22000 eligible farmers of the district are registered under the PM-KISAN.
