In the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup, Trident Stallions continued their winning streak to strengthen their contention for the knockouts. In the cup, Team Trident defeated Hampton Stallions for the second time in a row.

On 20 July Trident beat Falcons by 7 wickets and now Team Trident registered a 6 wicket win. Nehal Wadhera was the star of the victory.

He hit a half-century and sealed the victory by hitting a six off the last ball. In the match played at the IS Bindra Stadium, Hampton Falcons won the toss and elected to bat first.

Trident proved this decision wrong and did not give them a chance to score runs. Despite Anmolpreet Singh's half-century, the team could only manage 138 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs.

Anmolpreet returned after scoring an unbeaten 76 off 54 balls and Prabhjot added 30 runs. For Trident, Sahil Khan took two wickets and Gourav Choudhary got an important breakthrough.

In reply, Trident Stallions did not get off to a good start. Shivein was dismissed for 6 runs and Shahbaz was dismissed for 1 run.

Vihaan made good shots, but he also returned after scoring 27 runs. Uday Pratap supported captain Nehal Wadhera.

Uday scored 36 off 33 balls and Nehal stood on the other side. He scored an unbeaten 56 off 31 balls to help Team Trident win by 6 wickets in 17.5 overs.

Salil scored 16 not out. Siddharth Kaul, Sumit Sharma, Madhav Singh and Anmolpreet Singh took 1-1 wickets.
