Third win for Trident Stallions, thrashing Super Strikers by 6 wickets

Trident Stallions registered their second consecutive win and third overall in the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup. Team Trident defeated JK Super Strikers by 6 wickets in the sixth league match. 

In the match, the Super Strikers scored 175/5 in the first 20 overs and Trident in reply added 175/4 in 17.1 overs to seal the victory. IPL star Nehal Wadhera played the captaincy innings and scored 80 off 37 balls.

In the league match played at IS Bindra Stadium, JK Super Strikers won the toss and decided to bat first. Trident's bowlers did not give them a chance to dominate and they could not score big. 

The team scored 174 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Sanvir Singh scored 83 off 49 balls. For Trident, Aryaman Singh took 2 wickets, while Harshdeep Singh and Nehal Wadhera got 1 wicket each.

In response, the Trident Stallions did not have a good start when they came out to bat. Vihaan Malhotra returned after scoring 9 runs and Shivein Rakheja was dismissed for 16 runs. 

After this, Nehal Wadhera made quick shots from one end. Shahbaz supported him and scored 23 runs. 

Nehal brought the team close to victory by scoring 80 runs off 37 balls with the help of 9 fours and 4 sixes. Salil Arora scored 16 not out off 15 balls and Gaurav Chowdhary added 13 not out off 11 balls to give the team victory 17 balls earlier. 

Trident scored 175 runs for 4 wickets after 17.1 overs. Sanvir Singh got three wickets, Jasinder got one wicket.
