Trident Stallions beat Hampton Falcons

Trident Stallions registered a big win and defeated Hampton Falcons by 7 wickets in the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup organized by the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA). Anmolpreet Singh's 53 runs could not prevent the defeat of Team Falcons and Nehal Vadhera scored 66 runs to give victory to Team Stallions.

In the match played at IS Bindra Stadium, Hampton Falcons won the toss and batting first scored 164 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Opener Anshul Chowdhary scored 45 off 40 balls, while Anmolpreet Singh scored an unbeaten 53 off 36 balls. 

For Trident, Aryaman Singh, Harshdeep Singh and Gaurav Chowdhary got 1-1 wickets. In reply, the Trident Stallions team got off to a good start. In-form Shiven Rakheja hit shots and scored 44 off 35 balls. 

Nehal Vadhera played the captaincy innings. He returned to the pavilion after scoring 66 runs off 48 balls with the help of 9 fours. 

In the end, Gaurav Choudhary scored 38 off 14 balls to give the team a 7-wicket win. His innings included 2 fours and 4 sixes. Team Trident achieved the target in 18.1 overs losing 3 wickets. 

Kanwalpreet Singh and Kunwar took 1-1 wickets for Hampton Falcons.
