The film is going to release on 22 September 2023 as announced through a post shared by Neeru Bajwa on her Instagram handle. The poster features another lead actress Megan Suri holding a jar in her hands with very scary expressions. Her post read as, "You can’t contain evil. IT LIVES INSIDE, starring Megan Suri and Neeru Bajwa, opens exclusively in theaters September 22nd.”

For the unversed, the film revolves around Megan Suri (Sam) who tries to forget about her Indian culture in order to set herself in a modern western school. The story takes a twist when a demonic spirit attaches to her best friend and she has to think and remember her Indian culture and spirituality so as to defeat the spirit. The trailer has already been released earlier which is quite intriguing, terrific, and promising. Now after the release date announcement, fans cannot wait to see the film.
