On Tuesday, the representatives of 23 villages, former panches, sarpanches and market committee members thanked together, Arun Sood BJP President for raising the issues of Chandigarh villages prominently with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Today, mainly representatives of Behlana, Dariya, Dhanas, Khudda Lahore, Khudda Jassu, Khudda Alisher, Cambwala, Maulijagran, Makhan Majra, Raipur Khurd, Raipur Kalan, Sarangpur and Kishangarh were present.
It is noteworthy that during the Pragatisheel Bharat rally, Arun Sood prominently spoke about the issues of Chandigarh village including increasing the collectorate of agricultural land of the village on urban basis, ending the issue of Lal Dore by the policy of CLU land pooling and also the development of the village of Chandigarh.
On the lines of City Beautiful, Karna Pramukh had taken up the issue with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and got assurance from his side that necessary action would be taken on these issues. It is noteworthy that Panchayati Raj was abolished in 2019 and all the villages came under the Municipal Corporation, but the agricultural land of Chandigarh village could not be urbanized and the beauty of the villages could not be changed on the lines of the city.
Arun Sood said that BJP will solve every difficulty and problem of the villagers and we have given serious attention to this issue, I assure that the villages of Chandigarh will also start shining like the city. Rambir Bhatti gen secretary too spoke on the occassion.
