DC Vikas Kundal reviews implementation of self employment generation schemes in Rajouri district

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today reviewed the implementation of self-employment generation schemes in the district. The schemes reviewed included those of Women Development Corporation, Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB), Cooperatives, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes Corporation, and others.

During the meeting, DC took stock of the progress made under these schemes and directed the concerned officials to ensure effective implementation. He also stressed on the need to identify and support the beneficiaries to enable them to become self-reliant and contribute towards the development of the district.

The DC further emphasized the need for effective monitoring and evaluation of these schemes to ensure their success and to address any issues that may arise. He also urged the officials to work in close coordination with other departments and stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes of these programs.

The Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal reiterated the administration's commitment to promote self-employment opportunities and economic empowerment of the people, and urged the beneficiaries to take full advantage of these schemes to improve their livelihoods and contribute towards the overall development of the district.

Officers who attended the meeting were CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; DDE, Qadeer Ul Rehman; concerned officers from Women Development Corporation, cooperative society and other officers.
