Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Sham Lal today chaired a meeting of different departmental heads and representatives to evaluate the implementation of the Self-Employment Generation Schemes in the district.
The meeting focused on assessing the progress made in various sectors and the progress achieved under the schemes offered by departments such as Agriculture, allied sectors including Horticulture, Handloom, Handicrafts, Industries, Fisheries and others.
Representatives from the banking sector were also present to discuss the sector-wise linkage under the Annual Credit Plan and were directed to prepare a comprehensive plan for effective implementation.
The ADDC Kishtwar urged the Lead District Manager (LDM) to share sector-wise linkages under Schemes and collaborate with the concerned departments to ensure an intensified awareness campaign.
He stressed the Departmental heads to sensitize their field functionaries about the proper handholding of the beneficiaries in rural areas so that hassle free benefit is availed by the beneficiaries.The objective is to maximize the reach and benefits of the schemes among the populace.
The meeting emphasized adopting a target-driven approach to provide maximum assistance under the self-employment generation schemes.Necessary directions were given to bankers and department heads to join forces and work diligently to extend the benefits of the schemes to the grassroots level, ensuring an effective and efficient implementation process.
ADDC Kishtwar underscored the importance of dedicated efforts to achieve the intended goals, emphasizing the need to serve the community with utmost dedication and commitment.During the meeting ADDC also reviewed the preparation of seminar on agriculture credit linked schemes to be held in district on 10 June.
The meeting was attended by CAHO Kishtwar Dr Sanjay Kumar, CHO Kishtwar Sajid Mustafa,CAO Kishtwar Amjed Hussain, DDM NABARD Nikhil Sharma, besides representatives of Concerned Departments and LDM Kishtwar.
