District administration, Ramban, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam today organised a series of events in Health and Educational Institutions across the district to celebrate the World Red Cross Day.
Education department, under the supervision of Chief Education Officer Dev, Anand, organized varied activities like Symposiums, Seminars and Painting competitions in the educational institutions to celebrate the spirit of humanitarianism and recognize the individuals who make a difference in their communities.
Similarly, the World Red Cross Day was celebrated in all health blocks of district Ramban under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer, Ramban Dr. Kamal Zadu.A blood donation camp was organised in District Hospital, where scores of volunteers donated blood.
The people present were also imparted awareness on the importance of blood donation.Similar awareness events on the importance of blood donation and other activities organised by the Red Cross Society in other parts of the district.
