The highly anticipated film, Adipurush which has been in the pipeline for a very long time has been increasing the excitement of the audiences to watch the epic Ramayana retold on the big screens. The makers of the film have been unveiling the posters of the characters and today, on the occasion of Sita Navami, the makers have chosen the best day to release the new poster featuring Kriti Sanon as Janaki.
In the Om Raut directrial Adipurush, Kriti Sanon will be portraying the role of Janaki and today on the occasion of Sita Navami, the makers have unveiled a new motion poster which features Kriti Sanon all dressed up as Janaki. Kriti took to her Instagram and shared the motion poster while she captioned it as, “सीता राम चरित अति पावन The righteous saga of Siya Ram Jai Siya Ram जय सिया राम”

Speaking about the motion poster, it opens up with the graphics of a sky full of clouds and then the camera rolls to Prabhas as Ram and then Kriti Sanon appears as Sita. Kriti is very gracefully depicting the character of Sita with her looks in beige saree with saffron dupatta covering her head and her facial expressions looks very emotional with teary eyes while the eternal chant Jai Siya Ram is played in the background.
The poster is very beautiful and reacting to it, many fans commented in the praise of Kriti for gracefully representing herself as Janaki and showed their excitement for the film.
The film ‘Adipurush’ will arrive in theatres on 16 June in 3D format as announced by the team. Adipurush is the on screen adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana celebrating “the victory of good over evil”. The film is directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series. The film stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh in lead roles.
