Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that "The Gita preached by Shri Krishna is not for any religion, caste, region and language, it is for the entire humanity. He said that every statement of Shri Krishna ji unties the knots of human life and it is also called the key to success.
Apart from this, he said that we will spread the message of Gita to all the countries of the world gradually. Sh. Vij was addressing the gathering as the chief guest at the Opening Ceremony of the International Gita Mahotsav at the Federal Parliament, Canberra, Australia today.
On this occasion, he released the book Geeta Prerna. In this program, Sh. Vij was also honored by wearing a turban. Geeta Manishi Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj, Swami Sudarshan Anand Ji, MLA from Panipat Mahipal Dhanda, various ambassadors, commissioners and Senator and Chief Minister of Australia Government were also present on this occasion.
'phakat shaastr ko bana rahanuma, kee karana hai kya, tujhe karana hai kya na.' - Vij
He said that we all have become a part of history by organizing the International Gita Mahotsav in this auditorium in the Australian Parliament. The extent to which Gita ji is propagated is less. He said that whenever a crossroad comes in your life, you do not know where to go, whether to go east or west, north or south, then it is written in Geeta ji that 'phakat shaastr ko bana rahanuma, kee karana hai kya, tujhe karana hai kya na.
Karma Yoga is emphasized in Gita - Vij
He said that if you open Geeta ji, you will find answers to all your questions. Geeta ji undoubtedly during the war of Mahabharata, when Arjuna dropped his weapons, Lord Shri Krishna preached Geeta to him. He said that the wise people, the people who know, do not grieve for those who die, and Shri Krishna has told about all kinds of knowledge, including Gyan Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and Karma Yoga.
Maximum emphasis has been given on Karma Yoga that we have to do our work without worrying about the result, we have to execute our work. Narrating the verse, he said that
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन ।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भुर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥
That means
Karma in your right only do karma you do karma.
Renouncing the desire for fruit, O Arjuna, follow your religion.
Sh. Vij said that in Gita ji, Shri Krishna has said this epic sentence that you have to do your work without worrying about its results. He is not saying this great sentence only to Arjuna, he has said it to all of us, we all are today's Arjuna, we all face such dilemmas and difficulties at one time or the other that we are forced to think.
He said that in order to make this world beautiful, cultured and to spread good thoughts, he gave this great mantra that do your work, do not worry about its result, because it is God's work to give results and God gives the result. He said that lakhs and crores of people have experienced bliss by imbibing this mantra.
Geeta ji is not an object of worship, Geeta is a book to be read - Vij
The Home Minister said that Gita ji is not an object of worship, Gita is a book to be read, we should read it. We do not accept many of its things but we know, but along with knowing, it is also very important to believe and if we believe then all the ways of success will open before us.
No one will be able to stop us and no one will be able to obstruct us. He said that this is our society which is our humanism it will flourish well.

He said that Geeta ji is not for any religion, it is for all religions, it is for mankind, it is for the welfare of human being, it is for showing the way forward for human being, it is for uniting the soul with the divine. In Gita Ji, Shri Krishna told that man roams all day for happiness, he seeks happiness in material things but there is no happiness in material things, material things cannot give happiness.
Giving an example, he said that "I once felt like taking a bicycle, I took a bicycle, maybe I would be happy in this, but after 4 days that happiness went away, then I said that I should take a scooter, then I took a scooter, after taking it, his happiness also went away, then I took the car, so in this way it keeps increasing, the desires keep increasing, but the happiness that is infinite, for which the only purpose of a person's coming to this earth.
There is joy only in infinity - Vij
He said that the one who is infinite and property right has been imposed by the Supreme Soul and it is not with anyone else. As long as we remain ourselves, we will not go in front of God. He told through the verse that Shri Krishna also said that -
सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज।
अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ॥
अर्थात
सभी प्रकार के धर्मों का परित्याग करो और केवल मेरी शरण ग्रहण करो। मैं तुम्हें समस्त पाप कर्मों की प्रतिक्रियाओं से मुक्त कर दूंगा, डरो मत।
That means
Renounce all forms of religion and take refuge only in Me. I will free you from the reactions of all sinful deeds, do not be afraid.
He said that "I we suffer only when we believe we are doing I am doing". He said that "There are two eyes, one is a small eye, which is mine, that is, I am. There is a big eye, which is of God.
One eye lives at the same time. As soon as we finish our eye, then our charge is taken by the big eye and is full of the infinite, with whom the infinite is, and there is no joy in anything".
Truth is that which was yesterday, is today and will be tomorrow also - Vij
He said that we even call God Sachchidananda that he is true, there is bliss in him, he is eternal. Truth is that which was yesterday, is today and will be tomorrow. If we try to apply this formula on worldly things, then not a single thing in the world is true, everything is false, the truth is only God.
The more we imbibe it, the more we try to follow its deeds, all the treasures of the world will open before you.
The message of Gita to all the countries of the world will spread gradually - Vij
He said that it is a very good thing that we have started this and we will take the promotion of Gita to every corner of the world. Every time the Haryana government chooses a country for its promotion and dissemination.
He said that we have previously organized International Geeta Mahotsav in Canada, UK and Mauritius and now Geeta Mahotsav is being celebrated in Australia and will gradually take this message to all the countries of the world so that this whole world is full of happiness.
The Home Minister thanked various organizations for organizing the Gita Mahotsav
He expressed his gratitude to Kurukshetra Development Board, Association of Haryana in Australia, Government of India and Jeo Geeta for organizing the International Gita Mahotsav in Australia and said that all of you together have made this effort which is commendable.
Sh. Vij also specially expressed his gratitude to Seva Singh, the office bearer of the Association of Haryana in Australia.
