Kisan Sampark Abhiyan under holistic Agriculture Development Programme was today launched in various panchayats of 12 blocks of Reasi District.In Reasi Block the training programme was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Babila Rakwal along with BDC Chairperson Parveen Akhter and Sarpanch Raj Kumar Sharma.

Director Agriculture Jammu, K.K Sharma, along with DDC Panthal and Sarpanch Rajinder Sharma inaugurated the training programme in panchayat Dadura.The DDC said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, various steps have been taken to strengthen rural infrastructure, to increase agriculture productivity and diversification to higher value crops. 

The DDC called upon all the stakeholders to come together to ensure the effective implementation of a holistic agriculture development plan.The training was conducted simultaneously at 12 locations of District viz. Dadura, Agharjito, Gran byotran, Dehote, Bidda, Dangakote, Thub,chinkah, chaklas,Baddar, Neoch, Chassana in the District.

Training was imparted to farmers by the resource persons of agriculture and allied Departments through Various audio visual aids. The Baseline survey was conducted by the skill gap study person of the farmers who attended the training programme. 

Pamphlets were also distributed among the farmers. About 600 farmers participated in the training programme.District Nodal officer HADP, Chief Agriculture officer Reasi  Harbans Singh, attended the programme at Panchayat Gran Byotran and Panchayat Dadura, along with sub Divisional Agriculture Officer and agriculture extension officer concerned.
