The makers of IB 71 have unveiled the trailer of the film showcasing glimpses of the film when they come to know about the attack that is going to happen on India within 10 days by Pakistan and China in 1971 after Pakistan lost two wars against India in 1948 and 1965 and India was not all prepared for the war at that time. It shows their planning, plotting and execution of the secret mission in which their team enters Pakistan risking their life and tries to stop the attack and bravely win the war.

The film is based on the true events of the 1971 war of India and Pakistan that led to the creation of Bangladesh. IB 71 featuring Vidyut Jammwal, Sankalp Reddy and Anupam Kher in lead roles is going to be released on 12 May 2023. The film is written and directed by Sankalp, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vidyut Jammwal, Abbas Sayyed and Reliance Entertainment.
