The Deputy commissioner Kulgam Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today toured several panchayats in Kulgam and witnessed the proceedings of Special Gram Sabhas held in these panchayats.Accompanying the DC were ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz , ACD Mohammad Imran, ACP Shurjeel Ali and other officers from line departments.
Special Gram Sabhas were conducted today in all gram pachayats across the district where people and PRI members participated enthusiastically to discuss and finalise Gram panchayat Development Plan(GPDP) 2023-24 and people prioritized the works in their areas during these sabhas.
During these sabhas Prabhari Officers,officer's and officials from line departments were also present and overwhelming response of people was seen in these Sabhas.Youth from these areas also participated in these sabhas who also participated to discuss and finalise Gram panchayat Development Plan.
