Punjabi singer Babbu Maan, one of the most popular artists of Punjabi industry, has entertained people with his incredible songs and films too. Today on the occasion of his birthday while people are showering lots of love and blessings on him, one shocking news has left him and his fans in worry. Babbu Maan’s Twitter account has been banned in India owing to legal demands.
It is reported that Babbu Maan was getting death threats a few days back due to which Twitter has taken action and banned the account. The twitter has displayed a message on the twitter handle of Maan for the withheld of the account which reads as, "account has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand." Babbu Maan had almost 2.42 lakhs followers on Twitter.
As per the reports, earlier also Babbu was given death threats by Bambia Gang months after the killing of great Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala due to which the state police increased the security of the singer.
Recently the Twitter account of BBC News Punjabi was also suspended in India by the government due to its anti-India propaganda. Previously accounts of several Punjab based journalists and many known members of the Sikh Community were banned in India. All these account suspensions were done amid the crackdown of Waris Punjab De Amritpal Singh.
