AP Dhillon has created history by performing the first ever Punjabi act at the Junos. He was invited by superstar Avril Lavigne as a ‘global phenom.’ His performance won everyone's hearts and made everyone groove on his songs. As reported, the Indo-Canadian singer before the performance said on the red carpet that, “I moved here with two suitcases and one dream, and that was just to do something that can inspire people back home.” “Immigrants that come into this country with the same hope that I had when I moved here,” he added. “So I'm really excited to perform here and I'm happy that finally this brown skin is getting recognized,” he further said.
