Ahead of the occasion of Holi, Swiggy has landed itself in controversy because of an advertisement. As soon as Swiggy shared the advertisement, it became viral on Twitter and landed itself in problems. users are quite upset with them and ask the company to let them celebrate the way they want to.

Speaking about the Billboard, it features eggs and reads, "Omelette; Sunny side up (with correct sign); Kisi ke sarr par (with a wrong sign). #BuraMatKhelo. Get Holi essentials on Instamart." Swiggy became the topic of discussion before Holi because of the controversial billboard. After this people started opposing the company and asked them to celebrate Holi the way they want and after that this #HinduPhobicSwiggy is trending on Twitter.

Yogi Debnath, a member of All India Sadhu Samaj and also the former President of the Kutch Sant Samaj entered the trend and urged Swiggy to apologise for the advertisement they shared. He took to his Twitter handle and tweeted, "Hey @swiggy it’s not okay to give selective gyan on Hindu festivals. Your Holi reel & Billboard is creating a wrong perception about Holi. You must apologise and take steps to promote cultural inclusivity. #HinduPhobicSwiggy”

Many people opposed Swiggy while many also came in support and called it a harmless campaign and also some said it as a positive advertisement which is educating people to not to waste food and called it beautiful.

Despite all these statements, tweets and trends running on social media, there has not been any response from the Swiggy.
