Deputy commissioner Kapurthala Mr.Vishesh sarangal has asked the industry , Punjab Pollution Control board , Municipal corporations and other departments to further strengthen the mechanism of investment promotion and ease of doing business in the district.
Today in a meeting of Distt Level Committee Mr. Sarangal said that the district administration has ensured timely approvals of units and their expansions besides providing suitable environment to grow the industry in the district.
He also asked the committee members to provide clearances under Single window system to the applicants besides providing guidance to the new investors to attract the investment with an aim to create more employment opportunities in Kapurthala.
In the meeting to process fiscal Incentive cases under Industrial & Business Development Policy 2017, Distt Level Committee gave approval to 3 units.
Office of General Manager District Industries Centre Kapurthala is facilitating and handholding new and existing industries as per IBDP-2017 and IBDP 2022.
