Akshay Kumar aka Bollywood’s Khiladi known for his commendable work in Indian cinema is soon coming up on the screens with his movie ‘Selfiee’. Pre the release of the movie, Akshay Kumar has created the Guinness World Record by clicking 184 selfies in just 3 minutes.
It is reported that Akshay was at a meet and greet event at Mumbai on Wednesday for the promotion of his upcoming ‘Selfiee’ where he created this world record and became the title holder for the most self-portrait photographs i.e. 184 selfies in just 3 minutes.

Akshay took to his Instagram and shared the video captioning it as, “Everything I have achieved and where I am in life is due to the unconditional love of my fans. This is my special tribute to them, acknowledging how they have stood by me throughout my career. With the help of my fans, we have broken the Guinness World Record for Most Selfies in 3 minutes :) Thank you everyone. This was very special and I'll remember this forever. Ab selfies hi selfies hongi. See you all in cinemas on Friday.”
Akshay Kumar broke the record of James Smith of USA who clicked 168 selfies in 3 minutes at Carnival Dream Cruise Ship on 22 January 2018. Before this Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson held this record of clicking 108 selfies in 3 minutes back in 2015. Now Akshay has broken this unique record.
Talking about the film ‘Selfiee’ stars Emraan Hashmi along with Akshay Kumar. ‘Selfiee’ directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma Productions is going to hit the big screens on 24 February 2023. The movie also features Diana Penty and Nushratt Bharuccha as lead actresses.
