An intensive cleanliness drive was carried out by Animal Husbandry Department in Block 3 of New DC office, Complex Mini Secretariat under the banner Swachh Bharat Abhiyan -and in consonance with Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. 

The Drive was led by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO), Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen. Staff of the Animal Husbandry Department enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive.  

They collected Bags of garbage (paper waste/Plastic waste/Plastic bottles) and cleaned the area inside the Mini Secretariat Complex. The staff also carried out Dusting/Cleaning and appealed to the people to avoid dumping of plastic waste in and around the Mini Sec.

The CAHO, while addressing the employees of mini Secretariat said, "We want to have a visible impact on people and help them understand that cleanliness is a serious issue, and the first phase of it is to start from our own offices”.

He also instructed the staff of other departments to ensure proper hygiene around their respective place of working.
