Hrithik Roshan who is called ‘The Greek God Of Bollywood’ is a prominent Hindi cinema actor. He is known for his amazing roles in movies, extraordinary dancing skills, and attractive looks. Hrithik’s fans love to watch him on screen and he never leaves a single chance to impress his lovers with his work.
Talking about Hrithik who was to play the character of Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari directorial Ramayana decided to move out of the movie. As we know that Ramayana is in the pipelines for more than five years now but there was no sign of progress due to which Hrithik decided to move out of the movie.

Ranbir kapoor was signed to play the role of Lord Rama while Hrithik to play Ravana. As reported Hrithik says that fear of controversy was not at all the reason that prompted the star to opt out of Ramayan. The main reason reported by someone close to Hrithik revealed, “Hrithik would have loved to play Ravana. In fact years ago his former father-in-law Sanjay Khan had offered him a chance to play Rama in a big-screen version of the Ramayana that Mr Khan was planning. That didn’t happen. Now Hrithik has opted out of the chance to play Raavan, as he had other commitments. Hrithik no longer wants to do one project every two years. He would rather do two projects every year.”
The search for a new Ravana is still going on. It was also reported that the team approached KGF starrer Yash to play the character but still there is no official announcement made on this.
On the workfront, Hrithik was last seen in his movie Vikram Vedha. He is now working for his upcoming film ‘Fighter’ starring Deepika Padukone along with him.
