The movie ‘Pathaan’, a blockbuster film which has so far broken all the records at box-office is receiving appreciations globally and achieving all the heights of success. The team is very happy seeing the love and praise that Pathaan is receiving. The film has made the audiences dance and it has taken the internet by storm.
Amid the success of Pathaan and just after a few days of release, Pathan’s team talked about the sequel of the film. During an interaction with media on Monday, Siddharth talked about the difficulties and controversies that the film has faced and said that, “last two months were a little stressful, to be honest, because of the whole environment.” He said that everyone supported them and also people came in massive numbers on the first day of release. Sidhharth also said that directing Shahruklh Khan is like a ‘gift’ for him.

The director said, "Just like every filmmaker, I also had a wish list to once work with Shah Rukh Khan. I think you have to earn a Shah Rukh Khan film, I think it was my journey which I completed and that is when I got a gift to direct Shah Rukh Khan. Pathaan aayi hai, hit hui hai. Uske baad kya banayege” on this all their screamed, “Pathaan 2” and Siddharth replied “Insha allah” on this. Shahrukh Khan said, "This is a big day for us, my family. We haven't experienced this happiness in a while. Whenever he wants me to do Pathaan 2, I'll do it. If they want to make a sequel, it'll be my honour to do it."
Pathan is already running successfully in the theatres and has collected Rs. 542 crores gross worldwide at box-office in just five days and has broken all the records. The movie was released on 25 January 2023. It also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. Salman Khan can also be seen in his cameo appearance. If ‘Pathaan 2’, it will hit the screen with fire as the fans are super excited just by listening for the sequel of Pathaan.
