Shemrock Senior Sec. School, Sector 69 celebrated the Republic Day with zeal and Zest. The program commenced with a special prayer for Bharat mata, which was followed by a welcome song by the students .
At this moment tiny tots attired in the costume of martyrs i.e. Mahatama Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, S.Bhagat Singh to pay them tribute. Students performed on patriotic dance. Patriotic poem were also recited the students. Children were made aware of their fundamental rights and duties through a skit.
Skills to defend and protect, Martial were present on the stage. Chairman A S Bajwa said while speaking on the occasion that we, Indians can keep our national spirit alive by recalling the past to improve our present and future. School Principal Parneet Sohal added that we should be true Indians in words ,action and thoughts and be worthy of our country .
