It is based on an undercover RAW agent who is married into a Pakistani family to find out and share some information about their enemy to India, prior to the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. An Indian spy thriller film ‘Mission Majnu’ directed by Shantanu Bagchi stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna. The film was directly released on Netflix on 20 January 2023. The movie ‘Mission Majnu’ is based on the events which happened before and during the Indo-Pakistani War Of 1970s, the mission to expose a covert nuclear weapons program in Pakistan. It is also trending on number 1 on Netflix.

- URI: The Surgical Strike- ZEE5
‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ is a 2019 military action film starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam. The movie is directed by Aditya Dhar and is based on the strike on 28 September 2016 which was done in response to an attack on an army base in Kashmir's Uri on 18 September 2016 by Pakistan-based terrorists in which 19 soldiers were killed. You can watch the movie on Zee 5.

The Indian Hindi language 2021 film ‘Shershaah’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani is directed by Vishnuvardhan. It is a biographical war film based on the life of Indian soldier Captain Vikram Batra who was martyred in Kargil war. His bravery and courage the way he chased Pakistani soldiers out of the Indian territory and sacrificed his life by winning The Kargil War in 1999.
- Sardar Udham- Amazon Prime Video
The movie ‘Sardar Udham’ directed by Shoojit Sircar was released in 2021. The film features Vicky Kaushal. It is a historical biographical hindi drama film which centres on the life of a freedom fighter ‘Sardar Udham Singh’ who was from Punjab who spent 2 decades in planning the assassination of the man who was responsible for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
