Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer action-thriller film ‘Pathaan’ is one of the most awaited films of 2023 which is going to be released in cinemas on 25 January 2023. The movie has already created hype in audiences before its release. The film went through so many controversies and in the end, got approval without any changes. The film was scheduled to release on OTT on 25 April, three months after its theatrical release.
A few days back there was news about Pathaan’s OTT release on Amazon Prime Video on April 25 but the makers of the film were asked to resubmit to the Central Board for recertification and provide Hindi subtitles along with closed captions and audio descriptions for ease for people with disabilities keeping in mind the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.

Recently for Pathaan’s OTT release, the Central Board Of Film Certification has passed it for UA certification. Are children allowed with parental guidance? There will be several cuts in the song ‘Besharam Rang’. Pathan will once again be censored and will go through the censor process for the OTT platform release. It will go through a whole new censoring process and the violence will be restrained and the abusive or foul language will be muted.
‘Pathaan’ is a really important and big project for Shahrukh Khan as it is his comeback after almost four years. The movie also stars John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana, and Dimple Kapadia in the main roles. Shahrukh was last seen in the movie ‘Zero’ which was a failure at Box-office. He will be seen in his next film ‘Jawaan’ sharing the screen with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra. and ‘Dunki’ along with Taapsee Pannu.
