District Level Task Force (DLTFC) today met here to discuss the fixation of Scales of Finance for the year 2023-24 in respect of agricultural and allied activities in Rajouri district.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, and attended by CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; CAO, Sohan Singh; LDM, Sanjeev Bhasin; AD Fisheries, Manish and other concerned officers.
The Committee finalized the scale of Finance plan after thoroughly discussing the criteria to be adopted for the scale fixation. The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the importance of the fixation of finance for agricultural allied activities, as it will help farmers in the district to take advantage of various types of free credit in a convenient manner.
He also noted that the fixation of finance will create employment opportunities in the district through agricultural entrepreneur activities. He emphasized the need to involve all stakeholders in arriving at proper scales of finance and the necessity of accurate field data.
The DC also urged them for maintaining close coordination to ensure that credit flow to the farmers is adequate and timely. He further highlighted the importance of the fixation of finance for agricultural allied activities due to the increasing input costs.
