To discuss the arrangements for the smooth celebration of Republic Day 2023, SDM Ramnagar Shishir Gupta convened a meeting of officers of different departments in the Tehsildar office Ramnagar here the other day.
Detailed discussions were held on various arrangements which included barricading, security, seating arrangements, drinking water, power supply, sanitation, first aid, PAS, deployment of fire tenders etc.
It was decided in the meeting that the main function would be celebrated in the premises of Government Model Higher Secondary School, Ramnagar.
The meeting further decided that contingents from police, NCC and different government as well as private educational institutions would participate in the march past, while a colourful cultural programme would also be the part of national function.
The SDM directed the department of Education, Jal Shakti, R&B, Information, Health, Police, PDD, Municipal, Forest etc. to complete their respective assignments well before the National Event.
Different Committees like Rehearsal, Reception Committee, Selection committee were also constituted for the successful celebration of Republic day.
