After Kantara, this movie has crossed every possible limit. The movie has earned a lot of success and now the movie has started to stream on the OTT platform Netflix from the date 9 December.
This Kannad movie has earlier been released in the religious language, but later when the movie started getting a good response from pan India, then the makers started making dubbing projects for the movie in different languages so that the Pan-Indian public can watch the movie. Kantara makers have just created another universe for the audience of the movie. Moreover, the amazing fact is that this movie has crossed a hundred days in theatres.

Actor Rishabh Shetty qualifies the contention list for oscar for the best actor.
On the other hand SS Rajamouli RRR's song ‘Naatu Naatu’ has ranked the Oscar list as the Best original piece. 'Kantara' was presented at the Oscars 2023 which has certainly made all the Kannada people very proud. During the movie's booming run in the theatres, netizens urged the makers to submit the film to Oscar and they trended with various hashtags trending to send the film to Oscar.
