Good Governance Week (Sushasan Saptah) on the theme “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur” launched to showcase and replicate the best governance practices at grassroots level witnessed overwhelming public response.

The campaign intended to create a national movement for good governance and motivate the stakeholders both in the Government as well as outside the Government. It also aimed to promote citizen-centric governance and improve public services delivery besides redress of public grievances.

 In connection to the campaign, activity camps were organised across the district with special focus on disposal of public grievances and highlighting benefits about various Government Welfare Scheme and public services.

Various services including online revenue services, Aadhar enrollment, public grievances redressal and other services of different departments were provided to the general public at their doorsteps and in addition to this, inspection of developmental works has also been carried out during the week long celebrations.

The Department of Information and Public Relations, Rajouri also organised special Nukkad Nataks on the plastic management, and to educate the public about the activities being carried under SBM-R.

The weeklong celebrations witnessed enthusiastic and overwhelming response from the general public as they participated in large numbers and availed benefits under different schemes.
