Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch, Malikzada Sheraz Ul Haq, today  presided over a public grievances redressal and service delivery camp at Tehsil Complex Mandi  organised  in connection with the Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur'  and Sarkar Har Shehri Kay Dwar' campaigns launched under the aegis of Good Governance Week.'

Officers present on the occasion  were General Manager DIC, Dr.Zakir Hussain; Assistant Commissioner Development, Abid Hussain Shah; Tehsildar Mandi, Shazad Latief Khan; CDPO Mandi, Adil Shabir; Functional Manager DIC, Zamood Ahmed; BDO Mandi, TSWO Mandi, Mohammad Azam Rather besides BDC Chairperson Mandi, Shamim Gnai other PRIs and concerned officers were present.

During the event, various developmental issues were  raised by the public and PRIs pertaining to their areas.The ADDC gave a patient hearing and assured the locals that the demands raised shall be fulfilled in a time bound manner.

The officers of different departments also educated the public about their online services and motivated them to avail the benefits of the same. They also responded to the queries raised by the public pertaining to their departments.

Speaking at the event, the Additional District Development Commissioner highlighted the objective of the Good Governance Week saying that it aims to promote citizen-centric governance and improve public service delivery along with redressal of public grievances.  

The ADDC also said that a number of Government schemes/services can be availed through online mode which is another step towards transparency and accountability.He also asked the officers to maintain close coordination with PRI members to alleviate the sufferings of the people in a time bound manner.

Meanwhile, Additional District Development Commissioner also visited Block Loran where he interacted with the sarpanchs, listened to their issues in detail and assured them to fulfill the genuine issues in time frame.
