As part of a public outreach program, Vice Chairman District Development Council and Apni Party State General Secretary Youth Wing Irfan Manhas visited Balpora and Moshwara villages of District Shopian.
During the visit at village balpora, Manhas and Apni Party delegation was accorded a rousing welcome by locals.Manhas later on reviewed a number of developmental works. He also assessed the condition of the interior roads, issues related with electricity, water supply and drainage system in balpora village.
The people of balpora village apprised him about the burning issues of the area related to illegal mining and garbage disposal. DDC Vice Chairman Irfan Manhas assured them that their genuine demands would be fulfilled in a time bound manner.
Later in the day, Manhas visited village Moshwara including Arminakh, Peerpora, Bakshipora where a large number of locals especially youth were waiting eagerly to meet him.The locals of the area discussed a lot of issues and apprised him that they have been ignored by previous regimes including local leaders on developmental front.
Manhas assured them of all possible help to get them their share of area development.He later on distributed several Cricket Kits and other Sports equipment among the youth and budding sportsmen of the area. Manhas also distributed stationary gifts among small kids.
While talking to the media, Irfan Manhas said people have high hopes from us as they connect well with our work and truthfullness.There is a need to bring development on the ground and we are committed to it.
We will try our best to resolve all genuine issues and continue to serve the people in the same way. I assure people that the good times have started and with our diligence and public cooperation we will see good days coming ahead, Irfan Manhas further said.
He was accompanied by DDC Keller 1st and Apni Party District Vice President Ch. Fazal Deen, Vice President Mohd Ahsan Paul, District Secretary Tanveer Tak, District Advisor Gh. Nabi Bhat, District Organizer Manzoor Bashir Khan, District Coordinator Zakir Hussain Khan, Youth Leader Suhail Rather and other senior members of the party.
