The director let his followers know on social media on Saturday that filming for the movie is about to begin. The filmmaker posted on his Twitter account: "preparing to shoot. #Research #VaccineWar". In the same tweet, he also sent a photo of himself and his colleagues.

It is claimed that "The Vaccine War" is a testimony to the tireless efforts and commitment of the scientific and medical communities. The film's story was created on 3200 pages by 82 writers, who worked on it day and night. The study team had encounters with actual scientists and those responsible for the creation of the vaccine. The movie will depict the pressure that foreign governments put on Indian experts.

The release of "The Vaccine War" is planned for August 15, 2023, the day of India's Independence. The movie is going to release in 11 languages, including Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Bengali would be available for the movie's release, according to producer Pallavi Joshi.
