The Department of Animal Husbandry Bandipora on Monday organised an interactive session with the Dairy Farmers of Block Bandipora at Veterinary Complex, here. During interaction, CAHO Bandipora, Dr G A Lone made the dairy farmers aware about the various components under IDDS and advised them to link their farm with the recently established Milk Processing Unit at Papchan under IDDS to get optimum returns of their produce. 

Dr G A Lone stressed upon the importance of value addition of milk into varied products like Butter, Ghee, Khoa, Curd besides flavoured milk to yield maximum benefits in Dairy Sector. The session was also attended by BVO Bandipora, Dr M Ramzan Chopan and VAS Quil, Dr Khursheed Alam besides a huge number of Dairy farmers and the owner of KESPERIA Milk Processing Unit.
