Two day ‘My Town My Pride’ 2.0 concludes at Hajin

Ambitious ‘My Town My Pride’- phase II programme launched by the UT Administration concluded today at Municipal Committee (MC) Hajin. Mohammad Ashraf, Special Secretary Skill Development department who was visiting officer for Hajin listened to issues and concerns of the people besides taking stock of development scenarios in these areas.

He also inspected stalls installed by different departments to inform people about their schemes and programmes. Registration counters were also set up to provide on spot registration facilities to the beneficiaries. 

Later, the Special Secretary distributed sanction letters, golden cards and domicile certificates among the beneficiaries besides distributing land passbooks to the land owners. Various beneficiaries on the occasion were also provided advance mobilization payment under PMAY-U

Colourful and mesmerizing cultural programmes were also presented by school students. The Special Secretary also took stock of the developmental scenario in Hajin town. At the Municipal Committee Hajin, awareness sessions regarding government schemes, sanitation drives, plantation drives and other activities were also carried out.

President MC Hajin, Irshad Ahmad Wani in his speech thanked people for making this program successful by participating enthusiastically in the event.  The two day event witnessed huge Public participation and the town remained abuzz with the festivities of the Government's Outreach Programme.
