On the fourth day of Jan Abhiyan Shehri and as part of ambitious ‘My Town My Pride’ programme, a series of activities were carried out today by Urban Local Bodies (ULB) across Samba district. Director General E&S, Satvir Kour Sudan presided over the urban leg of Jan Abhiyan Proceedings at MC Bari-Brahmana and Ramgarh.
Inspecting the stalls of different departments, Satvir Kour Sudan called upon the departments to run the Jan Abhiyan Shehri campaign aggressively so that the message is carried out to the targeted beneficiaries.
The DG also distributed Vendor licenses among beneficiaries and handed over keys to 4 beneficiaries of PMAY-urban vendor certificates to 15 beneficiaries. Later, the DG has also visited Bari-Brahmana, Vijaypur municipal areas to physically verify the works equated under district Capex.
The DG was accompanied by the Chief Planning Officer, Samba District Statistics and Evaluation Officer Samba and Assistant director DES during the visit.
