The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed who is also District Election Officer Bandipora on Monday convened a meeting of all nodal officers in connection with the upcoming re-poll of DDC constituency Hajin-A.
The meeting discussed various measures regarding Model Code of Conduct, Expenditure Monitoring, Helpline & Redressal mechanism, Communication Plan, Manpower Management, Law & Order and other Security Matters.
The meeting also discussed work distribution of each nodal officer for conducting the re-poll. During the meeting, Nodal Officers presented the initiatives they have taken so far for the preparation of the re-poll.
The DEO/DC urged the nodal officers who have been appointed for the re-poll to be well versed with the guidelines given by the Election Commission. Dr. Owais also asked the officers to give their best efforts in their respective assigned duties with dedication and sincerity.
He urged all the nodal officers to ensure re-poll is conducted in a free, fair and peaceful manner.
