District Legal Services Authority Kathua, under the guidance of Chairman, DLSA, Kathua (Pr. District and Sessions Judge Kathua) organised an awareness program on 'NALSA Schemes for Legal Services to Disaster Victims 2015' at Panchayat Ghar Logate, today.
The awareness program was part of the Action Plan of JK Legal Services Authority for the month of November 2022.Panel Lawyers, Adv. Upasana Gupta and Adv. Mukesh Kumar Talotra were the resource persons.
The Program was organized under the overall supervision of Secretary District Legal Services Authority Kathua Rekha Kapoor Nischal.The main objective of the program was to spread awareness among the general public about the Legal Service scheme for the victims of disasters like flood, drought, earthquake or industrial disasters.
Resource person Adv. Mukesh Kumar Talotra, highlighted the role of Legal Services Authorities to help the victims and administration for reducing the risk and strengthening their capacities for managing human made and natural disasters at all levels.
The programme was attended by Panchs, Sarpanchs and locals, staff of District Legal Services Authority along with Para Legal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority Kathua.
